WHERE ARE WE GOING?
DAY BY DAY ACTIVITIES DETAILS
Please make your own way to the hotel. The airport pick up service is available upon requested.
We are gathering at the hotel lobby by 5:00pm local time. Your tour leader will conduct a tour briefing and bike fitting, followed by a welcome dinner.
If you have brought your own bike, please bring the additional accessory for installation. Your crew will have to fit it.
Kulen, meaning “lychee tree,” is a mountain range in this city that became a national park in 1993 after the civil war. It was previously a stronghold for Khmer Rouge soldiers. Now a tourist destination, we will have a short hike along the thousand linga river, enjoy the shade while listening to a nearby waterfall. For those wishing to swim in the natural pool, it’s advisable to bring a change of clothes.
We will drive up the hill and hike from the 1000 lingas river. We will visit the 16th century reclining Buddha and enjoy a swim at the stunning waterfall. We will continue our short hike after lunch down to the foothill and drive back to the hotel.
Tour time: 08:30AM – 5:00PM
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Activity: Hiking + Waterfall
Distance: Hiking 10km/6.5mil
You will get picked up from your accommodation and drive through the park to the first temple. From there, you can explore the temple grounds and immerse yourself in its rich history and culture. Angkor Wat temple is the world’s largest religious temple, and the grandeur of its details and structure is impressive. We will continue to explore the renown jungle ruins of Ta Prohm. It fascinates travelers with its unique towering trees, and strangler figs are grown on the top of the structure. Lunch will be served at the local restaurant. We will continue to Angkor Thom and Bayon temple and the complex of the former king’s palace when the Khmer kingdom is at its peak. The tour will provide you with a deep understanding of the ancient Khmer civilization and the significance of these historical sites in Cambodia’s cultural heritage. We will return back to the hotel and unwind around the pool or enjoy the hotel facilities.
We commence the day with a short ride out of town and toward the stunning countryside. It is an intriguing ride throughout the village and backroads with a beaming smile from local people who have not seen foreigners riding bikes. A few stops to refill your energy and a local lunch break. We will continue our ride to Kampong Khleang, the largest and most authentic floating village on Cambodia’s Tonlé Sap Lake. This floating community offers a deeper, more respectful glimpse into daily life shaped by the rhythms of water and seasonality.
Additional information: From June to August is the water raising season as the water pushes into the lake by the mighty Mekong River, turning the water a dark yellow color, and it will turn very clear between September and November.
We begin the day with a short ride through the villages toward north of the city. We will visit to the UNESCO heritage temple of Sambor Prey Kuk. The farmer capital city of Chenla kingdom. The local lunch will be served on site before we continue to the last leg.
We begin from the hotel toward Mekong river. We go through the farm island and ferry crossing to the other side of the river. Today, we cover more longer distances along the mighty Mekong and channel. A great highlight of the friendly villagers and green farms.
If you wish to ride door to door is approximately 108km/68mil.
The journey begins with a ferry ride across the Mekong River, leading to a serene cycling path on an island. The flat terrain allows riders of all levels to explore shady lanes, wooden houses, and lush orchards. Along the way, encounters with local families reveal traditional crafts and farming practices, immersing cyclists in the community’s daily life. This leisurely ride emphasizes enjoying the island’s charm, sometimes complemented by a simple Cambodian meal. By the end, participants feel connected to a slower, richer rhythm of life.
Enjoy a leisurely exploration of Phnom Penh until 12 PM, when you will board a beautiful speedboat for the trip from Phnom Penh to Chau Doc, crossing the international border at Vinh Xuong. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful riverlife of the Mekong River, including passing by fish farm villages and spectacular scenery along the riverbanks.
Arrive in Chau Doc in the late afternoon. You will have a short transfer to your hotel, followed by dinner with a local guide. Afterward, you will have free time to explore Chau Doc by night.
We’ll begin the day with a 30 km transfer from Chau Doc town to our starting point. Today’s ride covers flat, scenic terrain along the Vinh Te Canal system, a historic waterway that once marked the border between Vietnam and Cambodia.
Our first major stop is the Tra Su Cajuput Forest. Here, you’ll board a motorized boat to navigate the emerald-green waters, weaving through a stunning landscape of water hyacinths and lilies. Afterward, we continue our ride toward the banks of the Hau Giang River, covering a total cycling distance of approximately 50 kilometers. We will conclude the day in the vibrant city of Can Tho, where we’ll spend the night at a riverside hotel.
This morning, explore the vibrant Cai Rang Floating Market, one of the last authentic markets in Indochina. Afterward, cruise through the tranquil, winding canals of Can Tho to witness the peaceful riverside life.
We then cycle toward Dong Binh, riding under lush jungle canopies and visiting serene Khmer pagodas in a stunning area of the Mekong Delta. After navigating charming concrete paths, a local family will warmly welcome us for a traditional lunch. This immersive journey concludes in Ben Tre, where you will experience the heart of local culture with an overnight stay at an eco-homestay.
Today, we embark on our final ride, exploring the hidden gems surrounding our eco-homestay. The route winds through lush landscapes abundant with tropical fruit orchards. As we admire the vibrant colors and variety of the local flora, we’ll stop to sample fresh, seasonal produce along the way.
Following the morning ride, we trade our bikes for a boat to reach Mo Cay. From there, we cycle the final leg of our journey to Rach Mieu, where our vehicle awaits to transfer you to Saigon—Vietnam’s largest and most vibrant metropolis. Our total cycling distance for this final day is approximately 45 kilometers.
Enjoy your delightful breakfast at the hotel and on your own arrangement airport drop-off.

Excellent guide and hospitality! My daughter and I had a great trip exploring Angkor Wat at sunrise, Bayon temple and Ta Prohm temple with Muen Tuy as our guide. He was excellent in explaining the history of the city and temples, and took good care of us. Great breakfast and lunch as well. They provide very good and solid mountain bikes. Thumbs up to him and his driver, Tina.Luis H4 July 2026Verified

Great cycle morning My daughter and I had already done a trip with Muen and loved it so much we went on another one. It was just the two of us so he adapted the ride so we could go further and we really felt we got a feel for life outside the city. The countryside was beautiful and it was lovely to cycle through the rice fields9 March 2026Verified
Biking in Siem Reap This was the most fantastic experience. Biking through Siem Reap. Lot and Haily looked after us exceptionally well. Every tiny thing was thought of and nothing was too much trouble. We have done many bike tours and this company absolutely excelled in their organisation and cost. I highly recommend them.Carrie G6 January 2026Verified
The best tours!!! Go! Lot was my guide for 2 days. The Sunrise and bike tour exceeded all expectations. The most memorable and meaningful 2 days on a long journey through Asia. I also took the Lake tour. Lot taught me about the culture, temples, landscape, food and history along the way. THE BEST!Danielle D1 January 2026Verified

Went out a few times, both mountain bike rides through the jungle and also multiple road bike rides around Siem Reap Rode around the big loop today with Muen, I love the scenery around the area of the temples and the company that is provided while doing the tour is much appreciated. We called in at a restaurant along the way for breakfast. It cost $5 and I was full, very nice healthy food options.I would thoroughly recommend that you contact Muen , if you intend to do any cycling in Cambodia. He has great knowledge and insight, is very calm , good natured person. It has been great to have Muen as guide whilst cycling in Cambodia.Escape4370729 November 2025Verified
Best of the best Totally awesome. Muen was an incredible guide. Food and food locations were brilliant. The bikes and the off road trails were great. We are older but bike a lot. Way better than I could have hoped for. And of course Angkor Wat... we saw so much and learned so much that we did not feel the need to go again.CHB14 September 2025Verified
Amazing village bike tour We had an amazing 4 hour cycle tour with Muen. We cycled from Siem Reap, through villages and farm land. We met locals who told us about their work and life. We ate local snacks and chilled out in hammocks listening to the wildlife. Muen was so informative and friendly. I really recommend this tour.Sheryl R22 August 2025Verified
Angkor Wat sunrise private tour by bike including guide, breakfast and lunch. Amazing Private Tour, our guide Chen couldn’t do enough for us, he was very knowledgeable of the area and history and the bikes were in excellent condition. We stopped for breakfast and lunch at two different locations, and both were amazing food. The biking was at an easy pace and all the paths were flat, there was a support van and driver if needed. All very professional and good value. Would highly recommend this private tour.Vigie4412 August 2025Verified
A tour with a nice guide Kimsan is really helpfull, honest and efficient. We are a family of four with two teenager. We all had a good feeling with our guide. You can book with him without any doubt.YogaMamaLamaDrama28 July 2025Verified
A 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 unmissable experience We knew this would be an enchanting experience from the description of the day on paper but had no idea how insightful it would be. Our guide was so knowledgeable, he brought the whole experience to life and deepened our understanding of Cambodian life through the ages sharing his knowledge of the traditions and culture surrounding the temples and every day life. This experience will definitely not disappoint and the only regret would be if you didn’t book it! The bikes were five star along with the bathrooms 😁 and the care the guide and his helper took of my family whilst negotiating not only the exciting off-road tracks but also the very busy city streets was unprecedented. អរគុណណាស់.Rhysbuddy18 July 2025Verified
Such an amazing tour This was our second time touring with Elephant Tours, and with our incredible guide named Lot, and it was just as unforgettable as the first. Lot is an exceptional guide whose deep knowledge and passion for Angkor Wat make the history come alive in the most engaging and meaningful way. He has a gift for storytelling, a great sense of humour, and a genuine warmth that makes the entire experience feel personal and special. We feel so lucky to have had him guide us again. Highly recommend Elephant Tours and if you can, ask for Lot!Dimitri P24 April 2025Verified

Highly recommended Like many, our first activity on arriving in Siem Reap was to visit the many temples. A must do, but inevitably, as so many others are doing the same, a sometimes crowed experience. The Countryside at Twilight tour could not have been more different. With the bikes brought to the hotel, we rode out of town and straight into the countryside. An opportunity to see and experience a side of Cambodia that could so easily be missed. Inevitably, getting off the beaten track is at times hot and dusty, but the reward was very well worth it. Sitting at the isolated Lilly farm, quiet and picturesque, at sunset was fantastic.S.Sander V8 April 2025Verified
Cycling Siem Reap We did a fantastic cycling tour with Muen and team seeing the country side of SiemReap, meeting local people and learn about the cambodjan nature and culture.Sara D16 March 2025Verified
Trip of a lifetime! Sothea was a great guide, knew all the history, and took me to temples and on trails away from the crowds, where I was the only tourist. Biking part of the trail on top of the wall at Angkor Thom was a highlight. Ratka was an attentive driver, always offering towels, water, and snacks. The quality of food was outstanding, and it was really interesting going to local restaurants I would have never found or tried on my own. 10/10, if you are even thinking about biking the temples this is the sign for you to DO IT! It was 35 degrees, felt like 42, and biking in the tropical forest made it bearable.Konrad S3 March 2025Verified
Look no further Just excellent. Booked the Angkor Sunrise Bike Tour (as you should do). Perfect organisation, fantastic breakfast, lunch alright. Bikes in very good condition. Most importantly, Mr Chen was an excellent guide. He brought the right amount of information at the right time. Took us directly to the places to visit in time during sunrise. He then adapts the tour to the ability of his guests so that we took the deserted bumpy tracks through the jungle. Visited some temples with few to no other tourists and saw some great nature. Got fruit, cool towels and plenty of water from Tina, our nice driver.Support the local business!WBwatergirl22 February 2025Verified
Great on road and off road tour! Our guide Bota was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable about the area and catered the ride to the time, distance, and terrain we requested. He planned a lovely stop for coffee or smoothies at a cute cafe. We saw parts of Siem Reap we have not covered by van/bus/tuktuk in our week here. He is a very experienced biker who kept us safe in the higher traffic area while we got away from town. Definitely recommend him!Brent W21 February 2025Verified
Get out and ride ! Excellent ride in Siem Reap. I had ridden with Muen 5 years ago when in the area and reached out to him again. Very personable and tailored the ride to my specific request.. His team is willing to work with anyone from a casual ride to one with a more advanced skill level and fitness level. I just did a single day around the area although he is also available to do multi day trips in the region. I highly recommend.Rachael C9 February 2025Verified
Must do as part of your Siem Reap visit We had an incredible day out with Chen as our guide and Yong our driver. Probably one of our best overseas guided tours we have done to date. Chen was really good fun and kept us laughing throughout the day but was also extremely enthusiastic & knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the region and Khmer history. He knew all the best photo spots and quieter areas to experience the temples without it feeling too crowded. He took some awesome sneaky candid photos and sent them to us at the end. He also knew to stay a little longer at sunrise to catch the best view - most other people had moved on already so we felt lucky to see it with barely anyone around. It was really cool to visit the temples via the back roads, rice paddies, small villages and jungle tracks by bicycle. The bike ride was very tiring but there are enough stops along to way to recoup energy. The driver meets you at each stop with cold water and at one stop Yong prepared fresh fruit for us. The food stops were all fab & we ate SO well - everything was delicious. Breakfast especially was very generous in a gorgeous location & with a chef preparing eggs by the table side. There are regular public toilets along the way, some free and some with a small fee. We felt like VIPs on this trip and would highly recommend Elephant bike tours and Chen to anyone! Thanks Chen & Yong for a day we will remember forever!jason d28 January 2025Verified
Very good I had a super couple of mornings cycling with a very nice lad from Elephant Bike Tours. Best bike adventure tour ever!!!! Elephant bike tours and our guide Muen and driver Hylee were awesome!!! My son and I love adventure and our three day tour offered everything! The first day we rode a tuk tuk and visited highlights in Siem Reap including APOPO, local markets, the Phare circus and fair trade craft market. The second and third days were epic mountain biking - 30 km and 45 km journeys alongside ancient temples, through farmland, next to rice paddy; we met villagers, biked by village weddings, and observed palm sugar production. We stopped many times to learn about the history and significance of the temples in Angkor Wat and the sites in Kulen Mountain. In Kulen mountain we took a dip in an incredible waterfall, and also hiked a jungle trail. Hylee the driver was on hand at regular intervals to fix bikes, offer the air conditioned van to rest, refresh water and he set up picnics with elaborate snacks including amazing Cambodian fruits and desserts. We lunched on local cuisine and had a chance to sample a variety of delicious foods. The riding was quite flat, on jungle trails, beside open farm fields and some paved roads. In sum, we had an unforgettable journey.Alejandro LM23 December 2024Verified
Best tour to Angkor Wat! No doubt!!! Outstanding service! Nothing to fault. Everything was exactly as described. Elephant Bike Tours is locally owned, and Lot was very helpful in assisting us with the reservation. Our driver, Lyond, was kind and helpful throughout the tour. Breakfast, cooked by a lovely chef in the field, was perfect—she made the best omelettes! The biggest thanks and admiration go to Chann, our guide. He was helpful, kind, patient, knowledgeable, fun, respectful, generous, and more. He took us to places where there were few people, making the experience even more special. The tour exceeded our expectations, and I can’t wait to bring friends and do it again. The bikes were also top-class.Thank you, Elephant Bike Tours!Frank250823 December 2024Verified
An unforgettable experience. Absolutely amazing day. Would definitely recommend the all inclusive bike tour with the sunrise, breakfast and lunch included. The tour guide Chann was so caring and thoughtful with every detail of the tour, history, knowledge of every site, the bike trail was really awesome and even included crossing an Indiana Jones style bridge over a river. The cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious and so was the coffee. The driver (Lyond) was also very thoughtful, he would always park his car nearby in case anyone had an accident or had to leave earlier. If any of you want to have a great all inclusive tour don't think twice. The memory of this day will stay with us forever. ❤️❤️Wade H22 December 2024Verified
Fun and insightful! We did an evening Countryside tour and it was magical! We zigzagged through the outskirts of Siem Reap on rural, dirt roads, making several stops at farms, gardens, and temples. All three guides had a deep knowledge of local agriculture and customs, as well as Cambodia’s history, economy, religious practices, and culture. It made for very comfortable and insightful conversation. The scenery was great and the final stop was gorgeous! We learned a lot and had a lot of fun! I’m sure any of their tours are excellent.James H18 December 2024Verified

Hotel pick up and drop off. Sunrise over AW was amazing! Breakfast and lunch were Outstanding! The driver-Young, the chef-Sokna and the guide- Muen were so gracious, helpful and skilled! Muen spent lots of time explaining and presenting the details of Angkor Wat. Best places for photos, detailed descriptions of the history and culture supported with visual presentations on his phone. He caters the trip for all levels. Muen is an excellent rider. A roadie as well. Trek mtn bike with front suspension. Awesome trails through jungle - dependent on skill level of the group. Paved trails as well. The roads are in incredible condition so the trip is good for all levels. Fantastic bike tour Siem Reap! An amazing sunrise trip around the temples. From the moment I contacted Lot to make a booking for 6 people he was so helpful, allowing us to tailor the trip to our requirements. The communication about pick up from our homestay was excellent at every stage. We were taken by van to Angkor and our excellent guide Chan took us to a perfect spot to watch the sunrise, avoiding the jostling crowds on the bank of the pond. We got some great photos once the crowd had dispersed, followed by a tour of the temple where Chan’s knowledge of his country’s history was amazing! We were then taken for a fantastic breakfast in a lovely peaceful location that we had completely to ourselves! Our bikes were brought to the breakfast spot and we then set off for Bayon and Angkor Thom and Ta Phrom. We had a great time cycling on hidden paths, along the walks of Angkor Thom and short stretches of road. Amazing snacks were provided at Bayon ( which the monkeys also found very tempting!!). The bikes were of great quality, with a support vehicle appearing at regular intervals. We finished with a late lunch at a local restaurant. I highly recommend Elephant Bike Tours!Huw9 August 2024Verified

Fun way to go off the beaten path in Siem Reap It's my first time in Siem Reap but I didn't want to see the temples the "usual" way in a car or tuk-tuk, so I went with a bike and I'm so glad that I did! After watching the sunrise at Angkor Wat, exploring the famous temple, and had a lavish breakfast, we set off on our mountain bikes to see Bayon and Ta Phrom. I thought it'd be an easy ride but no - there was cycling on sand, up and downhill rides, and lots of great sights + refreshing snacks along the way. Basically, the best kind of adventure.Muen was super patient throughout it all. I'm not a strong cyclist, so whenever I was lagging behind, he'd come back to look for me and ensure I'm not injured or lost. He also helped to fix my husband's bike after a mini-crash. Plus, he helped to take lots of photos of us. A+++ service.Despite the challenging ride, we had loads of fun and unforgettable memories of exploring Angkor. TBH, I remember the bike ride more than the temples - it was just that fun! Highly recommend going with Muen if you love adventure. You won't regret it.Thanks for everything!hugodieg2 January 2024Verified

Custom tour with an amazing guide Chen was an amazing tour guide! Not did he only know deeply founded answers to all of our questions but also delivered them with such kindness and humour. He took care of all our needs, organized snacks and lunch and adapted information density, tour duration and sportiness level to our skills and requests. The bike tour to angkor wat couldn't have been better!Sunshine3708798666829 December 2023Verified
Unforgettable jungle riding Muen and his colleague Thouen were outstanding guides, they know their way around Angkor like the backs of their hands and knew how to create an incredible atmosphere on both days of my cycling tour. It was a pleasure to be able to discuss the site, it's history and everything in between with them both. Absolutely unmissable if you love cycling, or if you just want a knowledgeable, friendly, practical local guide.CindyP16528 December 2023Verified
Excellent Guide for Angkor Wat Muen was an informative and knowledgeable guide and we had a great experience. Sunrise over Angkor Wat was surreal and the temples themselves defy description. Going without a guide would be a mistake in my opinion - we learned lots of information we would have otherwise missed. I highly recommend Muen with Elephant Bike Tours.Nachos C26 December 2023Verified
Temple Run (bike) Quality bicycles, good teacher and guide for cyclingThey brought us to Angkor Wat in the morning to watch the sunriseAfterwards a good breakfast catered, fruit platter, toast, tea, coffee, cereal. So much selection for food.Following that, we got onto the bikes to visit the 3 temples, Angkor Wat, Bayon, Ta Phrom.Having enough restroom breaks, very sanitary restrooms that are well stocked up. Water was provided as wellExpect to ride on trails a little, prepare your bum for a bumpy rideSusan H14 November 2023Verified
Bike along small local roads connecting historic temples with a supportive and friendly local guide. Muen at Elephant Bike Tours shows you the best of Cambodia. His extensive biking experience makes him a wonderful guide on so many levels. He has local knowledge of the trail network around the many historic temples of Siem Reap. His fitness level supports his ability to bike along side, lead walks, talks and cultural experiences with ease. More important than anything else he is a wonderful person, caring, kind and funny. Can’t say enough about our experience on this tour. You will learn a lot and feel like you have a new friend in the world! Best of all, it all happens on a bike!Scott P13 November 2023Verified
