Immerse yourself in the world's heritage sites on two wheels. Enjoying the refreshing breeze and stunning architecture at dawn will leave you in awe. You will be guided through the single trails, which is an extraordinary experience, and riding in this glorious park is so idyllic that you won't want to miss it. On this tour, we will take you to visit the three main temples, including the Angkor Wat temple, the world's largest and most magnificent building at dawn. We will ride from the back road to the other two temples of Bayon, smiling rocks of faces carved out on the towers, followed by Ta Prohm, the famous towering tree intertwining, and the structure is totally covered by those gigantic trees. A delightful picnic breakfast is provided on site at the villager's house, followed by an authentic Khmer lunch at the local restaurant.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION

You will be picked up at your lodging and driven through the park to the first temple. We'll visit the world's largest religious Angkor Wat temple at sunrise. The scale of its intricacies and structure is astounding. Then we'll stop for a romantic private breakfast before pedaling through the park's amazing trail system. We will ride to the South Gate of Angkor Thom and the magnificent Bayon temple. The journey will continue to Ta Prohm Temple, a magnificent natural ruin that is interlaced with high trees where the Tomb Raider movie is filmed. The trip will end with a delightful Khmer lunch at a local restaurant within the park. Following that, you will drive back to your lodging.

After the booking has been made, the meeting time will be provided. You will be picked up from the hotel; please wait for your host or driver in the hotel lobby. (Gathering time is approximately 20-45 minutes)

Followed by a transfer to the Angkor ticket booth. (15 minutes)

Visit the magnificent Angkor Wat temple at dawn. (3 hours)

Followed by a delightful catered breakfast on site. (1 hour and 15 minutes)

Start our incredible ride to Bayon Temple—the smiling faces stone on every tower. (1 hour and half)

Refuel with seasonal fruits, local snacks, and water. (45 minutes)

Continue our invigorating ride to Ta Prohm Temple-Tomb Riader, where the towering trees with amazing roots are overgrown. (1 hour)

Followed by a home hosted lunch—a delicious Khmer food cooked by a local family. (1 hour and 15 minutes)

Drive back to your lodge. (Approximately 25 minutes)

ANGKOR ENTRANCE: You will need the ticket in order to join tour. 

The Angkor entrance is excluded, and it is available online or on-site, costing USD 37.00 per person. A card or cash payment is accepted. It is free admission for children under 12 years old, and a copy of the passport is required. It could be a hard copy or a soft file on the phone.

Pick up and drop off information

Pickup and drop-off services are included. Upon your booking being confirmed, we will inform you of the exact pickup time. Please be ready at your hotel lobby at least 10 minutes before the appointed time. 

Appropriate attire

Please dress up appropriate attire when visiting temples in Angkor temples—covering the knees and shoulder, scarf is allowed.

How do I meet my host?

Your host will be presented with the Elephant Bike Tours jersey uniform.

What is the pick up  and drop off time?

Pick up and drop off services are included. The start time is between 04:30 AM and 5:00 AM (local time).

Once the booking is confirmed, the exact pick up will be provided, and your host will turn up in the hotel lobby by the time. The experience will finish between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM (local time) at the drop off location. 

 

The ride is flat and mostly covered by trees and a single trail. It is perfect for mountain biking.

This type of cycling doesn't require experienced riders. If you are a novice rider, you can still join this tour.

In order to provide a great experience, we recommend booking a private tour for those who travel with children under 12 years old. However, this tour is fit for children between 5 and 11 years old. Please select the child rate upon booking.
