1. Booking and Confirmation

Bookings can be made via our website, email, or phone.

A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a deposit of 30% of the total tour cost unless otherwise specified.

Full payment must be made no later than 30 days prior to the tour start date.

Bookings made within 30 days of the departure date require full payment at the time of booking.

Confirmation will be sent via email once the payment is processed.

2. Payment Methods

Payments can be made via credit/debit cards, bank transfers, or online payment gateways.

Any bank fees or charges incurred during payment are the responsibility of the client.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation by the Client:

More than 30 days before departure: Full refund minus the deposit.

15–30 days before departure: 50% of the tour price refunded.

Less than 15 days before departure: No refund.

Cancellation by Elephant Bike Tours:

Full refunds will be provided if we cancel the tour due to unforeseen circumstances.

We are not liable for any incidental expenses incurred by the client (e.g., flights, visas).

4. Changes to Bookings

Requests to modify bookings must be submitted at least 14 days prior to the tour start date.

Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

Elephant Bike Tours reserves the right to alter itineraries due to weather, safety, or operational reasons.

5. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellations, and personal liability is mandatory for all participants.

Proof of insurance must be provided before the tour commences.

6. Health and Fitness Requirements

Participants must ensure they are physically fit and free of medical conditions that may affect their ability to participate.

Any pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed at the time of booking.

Elephant Bike Tours reserves the right to decline participants who fail to meet fitness requirements.

7. Liability and Responsibility

Elephant Bike Tours takes every precaution to ensure the safety of participants but cannot be held liable for:

Injuries, illness, or accidents during the tour.

Loss or damage to personal belongings.
-
Unforeseen delays caused by external factors (e.g., weather, strikes, or natural disasters).

Participants join tours at their own risk.

8. Equipment and Bicycle Use

All equipment, including bicycles, is provided and maintained in good condition.

Participants are responsible for any damage or loss caused to equipment during the tour.

Helmets are mandatory, and participants must wear them at all times while cycling.

9. Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to adhere to local laws, cultural norms, and safety guidelines.

Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the tour without refund.

10. Force Majeure

Elephant Bike Tours is not liable for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, or pandemics.

11. Photography and Media

Elephant Bike Tours may use photos and videos taken during the tour for marketing and promotional purposes.

Participants who do not wish to be featured in media content should notify us in writing prior to the tour.

12. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Royal Government of Cambodia.

Any disputes arising out of these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Cambodian court.
